What is self-production or net metering

Net metering with photovoltaics, gives you the opportunity to produce your own electricity, which you consume at home or business at the time it is produced and if there is a surplus, you give it to PPC to get it back at night.
PPC - HEDNO offsets the electricity produced by the photovoltaics, with the electricity consumed by the owner of the photovoltaics on an annual basis, transferring any excess energy to next year's bill. Every three years, the consumed and produced energy is liquidated. By choosing a system that produces in a year, how much energy (kilowatt-hours-kWh) we consume annually then we dramatically reduce the electricity bill.
Net Metering is valid in many foreign countries, such as Cyprus and Germany.
